You could ask the maintainer of graphics/sdl_ttf to rename
/usr/local/bin/showfont to e.g. /usr/local/bin/sdl-showfont .  I guess
this is easier than renaming /usr/X11R6/bin/showfont
since SDL is a smaller port than X.org
