OK, I got the DRI up and running on my i915 laptop and played with AIGLX
briefly. Unlike the Radeon, I can start X and start an indirect app, at
least. I did find a couple of crashers, and hopefully I'll track those
down soon, but it may not happen. They were pure userland (GL driver)
crashes, at least, so anybody with a second machine should be able to
tackle them relatively easily without having to interact with the
kernel.
