Font antialiasing

Before I get into the details, this is my first experience using FreeBSD.

Also, I have followed the relevant section of the handbook (section 5.5.3)

Attached is my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /etc/fonts/local.conf (which is
a symlink to the local.conf given in the handbook - i've seen both
used and i want to make sure it doesn't matter which one I'm playing
with.


I can't seem to get font antialiasing to work. I'm using KDE (i have
chosen to use antialiased fonts, no exclusions, and use medium
hinting).
