radeondrm kernel module version

Hello,

when I try to enable DRI on my ATI Radeon X300, x.org complains about the 
radeondrm kernel module not being 1.17.0 or newer. I run 6.0-RELEASE and 
X.org 6.9.0.
How can I update that kernel module (or enable DRI in some other way) ? It 
seems 1.17.0 is in HEAD...
