elousb driver in xorg

so i changed  Load Module line to "elographics"... (apparently i
shouldn't believe everything i read on the internet), with the following
results from my Xorg.0.log file:

there was alot of stuff on I810 which showed that the server was talking
to the monitor.
as you can see the modules were loaded but unable to talk to the
hardware. any suggestions?
