There are good news on this issue:

Philippe Michaud-Boudreault added a support for 7260 to iwmbtfw.

Please, try iwmbtfw from his repo: https://github.com/sinetek/iwmbtfw

As 7260 requires firmware files do be downloaded, I added them to
comms/iwmbt-firmware port:
