Hi all,

I am using bhyve mainly in the context of FreeNAS.

Recently a major version upgrade and re-branding took place from FreeNAS 11.3 to TrueNAS CORE 12.0.
This implies the underlying FreeBSD changing from RELENG_11_3 to RELENG_12.

FreeNAS/FreeBSD 11.3:

root at freenas01[~]# uname -r
11.3-RELEASE-p14
root at freenas01[~]# sysctl hw.vmm.topology
hw.vmm.topology.cpuid_leaf_b: 1
hw.vmm.topology.cores_per_package: 16
hw.vmm.topology.threads_per_core: 1
root at freenas01[~]#

TrueNAS CORE 12.0/FreeBSD 12.2:

root at freenas[~]# uname -r
12.2-RELEASE-p3
root at freenas[~]# sysctl hw.vmm.topology
hw.vmm.topology.cpuid_leaf_b: 1
root at freenas[~]#

What happened to those tunables?

Thanks,
Patrick
