Yes, that provides enough overhead (80/2000 ~= 4%).  I get 9,218,823 bytes with
gzip --fast of 1920x1200x4 random data (~0.03% overhead), which is <<
9,600,016.  So at least buffer size + Z_FLUSH_SYNC is not a problem per se,
although basically all of that should still be fixed.
