Making a "control point" is also not possible - the process is stopped at 9%
and hangs forever, without the ability to cancel it, with a similar error:

The incomplete process of creating a control point is removed by shutting down
the guest FreeBSD system, which also cannot completely shut down the VM, and
then rebooting the hypervisor.
