I've run into an interesting behavior regarding the virtio driver in FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE with regards to running in a VM on OpenStack. When I attach a volume to the instance running FreeBSD, a device node does not appear in /dev until after a reboot. Is there a way to rescan manually?
