I don't believe that a solution has been discovered as of yet. The really bad
news is that this "bug" apparently also infects the FreeBSD 13.x branch. I am
still stuck on the 11.x branch with no avenue available to upgrade my OS.

I have faith that they will find the bug and squash it.
