Filco USB numberpad

I'm having an issue with my numberpad. Whenever I hit the numlock key to
switch it from the default setup to act like a numberpad I can press one
key and then it seems to freeze. I'm not sure what is going on. Under
usbconfig it shows up as ugen0.5: <Cypress Cypress USB Keyboard  PS2 Mouse>
at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON (100mA)

Any help would be much appreciated.
