With the V-UAP41 :
[beni at bsdaddict] /usr/home/beni# ls -l /dev/video*
crw-rw-rw-  1 root  operator    0, 195 Aug  6 15:35 /dev/video0

And with the Webcam5 nothing :
[beni at bsdaddict] /usr/home/beni# ls -l /dev/video*
ls: No match.
[beni at bsdaddict] /usr/home/beni#

I will install pwcview and see which of the 2 cams works.
