dumpdev should be set to swap device - "/dev/ad0s1b" in your case. But 
actually you *should* be able to leave it undefined, in which case "AUTO" is 
used. 

I am also trying to create a pr regarding panic when connecting and 
disconnecting an umass device, and I also can't get a crash dump. Don't know 
why...
