Oops, I forgot to add that this is FreeBSD 6.2-p10. Same problem with other 
APC ups 1000 with FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE. I just don't know if this is an 
apcupsd daemon problem or FreeBSD USB stack- any hint, please?
