None of the USB buses attach using AMD64 and/or PAE

Hi

I have a bit of a problem - I have a Dell XPS 710 H2C using the  
nforce 590 for Intel chipset -
unfortunately I no longer have any PS/2 keyboards which make this  
mail somewhat unproductive.

but here the case In both PAE and AMD64 versions Current the USB base  
buses fail to attach - I included the PAE
version because it was possible for me to remote log in. I know that  
PAE does not support USB but it was the
it was the only configuration I could log into remotely

It this a known problem on AMD64?
