>Description:
I cannot use cdcontrol(1) to command USB-CDROM to play audio CD. My USB-IDE adapter is "USB TO IDE(0x0701), Genesys Logic(0x05e3)". CDROM is "ASUS CRW-5232AS 1.0".
>How-To-Repeat:
cdcontrol -f /dev/cd1 play
cdcontrol -f /dev/cd1 play 1
>Fix:
In the function umass_atapi_transform() in /usr/src/sys/dev/usb/umass.c, too strict constraint for the transform from userland program to adapter. Actually, if I allow command 0xa5 and 0x47, everything is all right.
