I have added the long on my to-do list tcp-timer cleanup diff to phabricator.  This in addition
to the earlier UDP tunneling patch.

Please take a look at these two patches.. I will be in the process of testing the tcp patch 
at NF in the next week… and I would appreciate others to give it a try as well.
