There was talk of adding process shared mutex support into the 6.x release, that doesn't appear to have happened. Is there a current project to add that support into 7.x ? Specifically, I am looking for the pthread_condattr_setpshared and pthread_mutexattr_setpshared interfaces for use by BerkeleyDB.
