Then it’s potentially this variable (from lib/atf/libatf-c/Makefile ):

CFLAGS+=        -DATF_BUILD_CFLAGS='"${_CFLAGS}”’

I’ll look through the Jenkins logs to confirm the CFLAGS that get passed in to lib/atf.
