I've tried to reproduce the issue, few more times, but I haven't seen it again.

Before opening the ticket, I'd confirmed that it wasn't me forgetting my
medication nor the dealer changing the recipe, so I went through the
installation process again on same laptop with same media same kbdmap selection
and the result was that no keymap line was added on rc.conf.

I can't say anything else but I'm not able to reproduce it today.
