Hello,

Devin here. Founding co-author of the zfsboot module (allanjude@ being the
other).

Looks like I'll have to dogfood 11.1 sooner rather than later. At $work we're
using 11.0 in the exact manner you describe without problem. I wonder if
something has changed.

Might be 1-2 weeks before results though -- lots of other FreeBSD goodness
cooking at the moment.
