Routing stops working when we create a new vlan

I have net.inet.ip.forwarding=1 but when I create a new vlan, the system
is changing to: net.inet.ip.forwarding=0. Why?
I try to go back to the value 1 and the system does not return to work.
Only back to work if I restart the system.
