UPDATE: everything it fine, I went with a higher end VM and 10-stable
processed as expected:
2252.540u 348.640s 16:41.00 259.8%    7579+976k 35183+56561io 7475pf+0w


Even 11-current built without any issues.

Not bad for $1!
