Sato-san,

You have provided a very useful summary of ifconfig parameters for rc.conf. However, you are missing one example that would provide
clearer understanding.  Would you please advise if 
 
ipv4_addr_em0="10.2.1.1-10/32"

is deprecated, backward compatible or remains valid into the future?

I particularly appreciate the succinctness of:
ifconfig_em0_aliases="inet 10.3.3.201-204/24 inet6 2001:db8:210-213::1/64 inet 10.1.1.1/24"
