MFC of vt to 10-Stable?

Any chance o seeing vt in 10-Stable any time soon? I don't expect to see it
in 10.0-Release (though that would be nice), but stable has been branched
for some time and, since this is a new "device" that is optional, it does
not look like the sort of major change that might impact the path to 10.0
release.
