mps module compilation issue on FreeBSD-9 amd64

I have also tried with "-j1".
I observe post "objcopy" .. why there is linking kernel.debug steps .? This step is only seen for amd64 compilation. For i386, it finished immediate after 
"objcopy" prompt.
