Ok, so you are saying that a reply from a Linux NFSv4 server (post 3.3)
for "ls -l" has correct owner and owner_group names on the wire, but the
FreeBSD client is reporting 32767 to userland?

If the above is the case, then you could email me a packet capture and
I'll take a look at it. (All I can think of is that the attribute reply
isn't parsing correctly for some reason.)
