They are threads now:

# ps axw | grep nfsd
 1373 ?? Is 0:00.02 nfsd: master (nfsd)
 1374 ?? S 5:47.14 nfsd: server (nfsd)
# ps axwH | grep nfsd
 1373 ?? Is 0:00.02 nfsd: master (nfsd)
 1374 ?? S 1:25.79 nfsd: server (nfsd)
 1374 ?? S 1:26.65 nfsd: server (nfsd)
 1374 ?? S 1:27.67 nfsd: server (nfsd)
 1374 ?? S 1:27.04 nfsd: server (nfsd)
