Oups... I didn't check the branch. I just concentrated on the "latest 
revision" not the latest revision in HEAD. Sorry for the noise, it's the 
first time I have to deal with that kind of kernel modification.

I just rebooted and the interface appears in ifconfig. I will let you 
know if I experience any problem.

Thanks again for your good work and the time to took to help me resolve 
this issue.
