can't compile mico app

Try the following. Works without fail for me:

script /path/to/my/chosen/logfile.name job that I'm attempting to log 
results from

In your case:

script ./err mico-c++ -I. -c client.cc

When the job completes, script will exit informing you. The results
(in the second example) will be in the file named: err in the current
directory.
