Help?  Just noticed this in /var/log/messages ... I'm running a fairly old 
6-STABLE kernel:

FreeBSD 6.1-PRERELEASE #4: Thu Mar 30 12:38:57 AST 2006

Googling isn't finding anything obvious or helpful ...
