/create/symlink failed: no inodes free

Right... that's essentially the same error.  What apears to happen when 
the install is aborted/restarted is that instead of installing to the 
HD, it ends up trying to install to the RAM disk... which fills up 
pretty quickly.  :-)

Of course, it is possible that the HD did fill.
