/usr/local/etc/rc.d/*.sh not working?

Yah, it's odd that the scripts aren't running.  I don't think it's a
maximum command length issue since 1000 files with names like:

/usr/local/etc/four/test-script-975

aren't a problem for "echo `find /usr/local/etc/four/`"
