Headless install with 5.X floppies not possible?

I used to install 4.X on headless boxes, by creating
floppies that immediately install over the serial
port. Are you saying this is not possible anymore
with the 5.X install floppies?
Do I need the monitor at least for just typing the
set-console command?

Pity of that's the case, though.
