I'm using the six-channel promise card (sx6000) at the moment.  It is 
supported under freebsd by the pst() device driver.

/dev/pst0s1e   550G   175G   331G    35%    /mnt/promise

it supports raid levels 0,1,3 and 5.

My system is running 4.8 from a recent RELENG_4 cvsup.
