What happened with 5.1-RELEASE?

I can second that:

ftp> cd releases
250 "/pub/FreeBSD/releases" is new cwd.
ftp> cd i386
250 "/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386" is new cwd.
ftp> cd 5.1-RELEASE
553 Permission denied.
