official 3ware support ?

----I would think so, but, as I wrote earlier, testing has been done
only on 4.8, and not yet on 4.9.

----Only CLI is provided as of now, but you can expect a new and 
mproved version of 3dm in the Feb/March timeframe.

I was wondering about 3dmd support too, especially on FreeBSD 5.x.

The last time I tried it, on a 5.1-Release box, you had to apply a 
binary patch to make it work, as described in this old message from the 
freebsd-current list.
