Greetings all -

I tried today, for the the first time in ages, to install one of my
sparc64 machines with a current snapshot.

The two latest images I downloaded, burned to CD-ROM and attempted to
boot were:

FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-sparc64-20140714-r268622-disc1.iso
FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT-sparc64-20140804-r269497-disc1.iso

They failed to boot the CD-ROM. They both failed like this:

ok boot cdrom
Boot device: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1,1/ide at d/cdrom at 0,0:f File and args:

 >> FreeBSD/sparc64 boot block
    Boot path: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1,1/ide at d/cdrom at 0,0:f
Not ufs
domount: can't read superblock
panic: domount
Program terminated
ok

Has anybody successfully gotten one of these images to boot lately?

I went back to a 10-current image I had laying about, and it booted OK:

FreeBSD-10.0-STABLE-sparc64-20140406-r264194-disc1.iso

ok boot cdrom
Boot device: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1,1/ide at d/cdrom at 0,0:f File and args:

 >> FreeBSD/sparc64 boot block
    Boot path: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1,1/ide at d/cdrom at 0,0:f
    Boot loader: /boot/loader
Consoles: Open Firmware console
