[CFT] misc/compat[789]x completed and pr's submitted

Hello Folks

If anyone is using misc/compat[789]x please could you try out the
patches and distfiles in the following PR's-

compat7x -- ports/184331
compat8x -- ports/184363
compat9x -- ports/184379

I am fairly confident that compat7x is working (that's the one I use on
older jails)

Just want to see if there is anything missing for other folk... fingers
crossed.
