ggated/ggatec broke on sparc64?

Hi Guys

I am just trying out ggated/ggatec on two sun v100.  I think ggated is
working correctly, but when I run ggatec to connect to it it hangs. 
Server becomes unresponsive.

Anybody else experience this ? is there a fix ?
