ive recently installed from CD, did a make world, updated ports, and installed
icewm and vnc from ports.. when I run vncserver as a user sshd into the box, I get the following.
when i do vncserver

Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb'
Getting interface configuration (4): Device not configured

failed to set default font path
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
xsetroot: unable to open display 'shonuff:1'
IceWM: using /home/jason/.icewm for private configuration files
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: shonuff:1
IceWM: Can't open display: shonuff:1. X must be running and $DISPLAY set.

note:I do not have X configured at all. this is a headless system. I was told that it was not necessary to have
X configure/running to run vnc server.
but all these errors seem bogus..

shonuff# file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb.txt: Assembler source

shonuff# file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/: directory

shonuff# file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/

shonuff# file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/: directory

so Im not sure which error to track down.
