Mines an ultra 5, IDE and 128M RAM. It still goes pretty fast. I've
been running time building the vinum module also with various kernels
(adding and removing debug options)... so far I can't get mine to go
anywhere near as slow as the times Mr. Brandt posted:

CLEAN: 41.88 real 35.96 user 2.30 sys
DDB: 43.88 real 35.75 user 1.87 sys
DDB/-g: 43.73 real 35.88 user 1.96 sys
DDB/-g/INVARIENTS: 44.35 real 35.95 user 2.29 sys

I'm waiting now on my kernel that has WITNESS enabled to give that a
whirl. I know with a GENERIC kernel a 'make world' takes about
12 hours. With my current kernel conf it takes 4.5 hours. If you have an
ultra 5 could you give my kernel configuration a try and see how it works
for you? I posted it earlier...
