Recommendation of motherboard for AMD 64 X2 in i386 mode.

Hello.
I've tried one motherboard with this cpu, and got several problems with
page faults and segmentation faults. I'm returning both the cpu and the
motherboard to the store this morning, so I need new ones.

Can someone recommend a motherboard for AMD 64 X2 in i386 mode?
I may also go with a motherboard for AMD Opteron Dual Core in i386 mode,
so a recommendation here would be appreciated too.
