no smp with compaq proliant ml570

looks like it helps, sending a mail to the list....
after spending days bevore mailing, to find a solution, i found it shortly
after...
APIC was disabled in the bios, and this options shows only if you switch to
advanced mode with ctrl-A in the compaq utils.
i found the answer in the linux smp-howto.
