smp on primergy L200

i installed freebsd 4.9RC1 stable on a fujitsu siemens L200 with 2 cpus 
(P3).
after launching the 2nd cpu the system freezes.
then i tried the patch from 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=i386/39234
which i'm using on our p200 and rx300, but on the L200 it doesn't work.
has anyone experience with the L200 and got a smp kernel running?
