Strange audio problem

Does the new headset have its own audio processing/filtering? I have
one with ANR. I tinkered with it: Listening to Buffalo Springfield's
"Stop children what's that sound" is best with ANR turned off.
Sibelius' "Finlandia" is better with it turned on. My passive earbuds
work better for "Stop Children", and are terrible with "Finlandia",
probably because the lows don't come through. I haven't had as extreme
a case as yours (yet). As usual with audio, YMMV.

Is the busted headband beyond fixing? Duct tape and fudgsicle sticks?
