FreeBSD on AWS with root-on-zfs?

Dear Colleagues,

Is anyone using FreeBSD as a EC2 instance, what would you do if you
wanted a root-on-zfs AMI?

It's a pity not to have all the power of root-on-zfs (bectl, snapshots etc).
