Cups on FreeBSd-12.1p7

Following a pkg upgrade the printers on my desktop stopped working. I use cups
and I see this in /var/log/cups/error.log

I went down this road once before but the fix I had then (reinstall the older
versions) no longer works. Has anyone else here run into this? How is it
solved?
