The program in question is _not_ a DOS program, instead it
is a "Windows Console App", i. e., something that requires a
running instance of "Windows" in order to be executed. The
easiest solution probably is to try to get a "Windows XP"
image to boot from a sufficiently big USB stick, and then
run the program from there, instead of wasting a whole PC
for this one-time action (searching, ordering, packaging,
shipping, unboxing, disposing - lots of time, money, and
electronic garbage wasted).
